The seaweed is harvested from the sparsely populated fjords of Iceland, in a gentle, selective and sustainable process, which only removes the part of the plant that is able to regenerate. It is then washed, dried, carefully ground and added to wood cellulose solution, obtained from responsibly managed forests. This process happens in Austria and results in the fiber called Seacell. The organic cotton in this fabric is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards. The fabric is knitted in Portugal.
